Deer pelt seized

Mangalore: Sleuths of Mangalore based Forest Mobile police squad on Wednesday based on a tip off nabbed a person at Airabailu bus station of Siddapura village in Kundapur taluk and recovered three deer pelts from his possession.

The accused has been named as Starwin Wilson (20). The squad personnel handed over the accused to Shankaranarayana police station for further investigation. A case under Wildlife Protection Act has been registered against the accused.
