Beti B very sweet, obedient: Abhishek

Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan met the press at a conference in Mumbai. It was held to satiate the media and public curiosity around Aishwarya & Abhishek’s newborn child.

Big B first thanked the media for respecting the family’s privacy. He went on to say that he isn’t working on any project currently, and has all the time in the world to take care of the baby. Abhishek however, revealed that he will be busy in the following week. 

Senior Bachchan expressed his delight in having a granddaughter and also added that “Abhishek and Jaya got what they wanted,” i.e. a girl child. He confirmed that there won’t be any grand celebration. The naming ceremony he said, will be a simple family affair. But the first stop for Beti B is the temple within her new home, Jalsa.

As for the name, both granddad and father admitted that they still haven’t zeroed in on a name. But they said they did hint that child’s name would start with ‘A.’

Both confirmed that Aishwarya and the baby are doing well. Abhishek added that his daughter “is quiet, obedient and doesn’t cry much.”
